Geoff Boltwood’s Group

Paul:

“I phoned the number that Trudie Brown had given me and I immediately spoke to Karen Harley, who was later to become Geoff Boltwood’s wife. I gave her a brief outline on what had happened to me concerning this energy that had become a part of my life. She was instantly interested, and she said that her group would probably be the one to join as Geoff was running another group at the same time in the same house. Anyway, I booked up and went along to their house in Perryvale, London. I then began to attend weekly sessions. I would go straight there after work, which was only a mile away. It’s strange that I began working full-time at the same time that I began these group sessions – especially when it was only around the corner from where I worked.

  "The first session was interesting because I was singled out. There was a group of us – about six or seven people including Karen Harley all in a room in Geoff Boltwood's house. We were each asked to talk about ourselves and why we had attended. The others admitted that they were there just for something interesting to do. They were interested in psychic matters, but it soon became apparent to me that they were only really there out of curiosity . . . you know, just for something to do.

  "Personally, I was there for a very good reason. I wanted to know what the hell was going on with me. I wanted straight talking and some straight believable answers. Karen must have picked this up about me because she asked me to stay behind – much to the surprise of the others who looked at me as if to say “Why you?” Anyway I stayed behind, and after she listened to my experiences, she told me that in her opinion, I had been chosen by something that she called “The Source.” She then went on to say that Geoff and herself were “Source people,” and that many famous people throughout history were “Source people” . . . people like Jesus, Rasputin, Uri Geller, etc., and even Hitler!”

Gary:

Geoff Boltwood is a friend of Uri Geller. In 1990, both were guests on a TV programme about the Paranormal called Stories in the Night. This early ‘indirect’ link with Uri Geller through Geoff Boltwood has now proven significant regarding my own theories.

Paul Continuing:

“Karen said that this “Source energy” could be used for good or bad depending on the character of the person that has it. She said that they had gained information from a private source, that the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein had experienced this “Source” energy, and so had the comedian Steven Fry of all people. [1]  

  Of course this was all too overwhelming for me and I came away thinking My God, what's all this about? I couldn't help thinking about that kid’s programme shown in the early 70s’ – “The Tomorrow people”.

  I remember that it was about this time that I was trying to resolve my ideas of the “abductions” that I'd read about, that didn't really fit properly into what I'd experienced, but couldn't be discounted either.

  I remember on one occasion, telling Karen that I was wrestling with the idea that my experiences could be UFO related. I said that I’d come to this idea after reading about certain aspects in many of these cases that were similar in their description concerning certain sensations that I had experienced. She then waved this aside by saying “Don't dwell on UFOs, they’re not really important.” And she said something ridiculous like “You were once a UFO yourself.” I was so surprised that I didn't even question it straight away because she looked at me as if to say “Do you understand?” . . . and because I didn't want to seem ignorant I just nodded my head. At the time, I thought God knows what she meant by that. I think I know now though, because I've arrived at similar answers in a roundabout way . . . things that Karen Harley was trying to explain to us in the first place. I have now arrived at my own conclusions which are almost the same as hers, but which I rejected at the time because the ideas which she was trying to get across then, seemed so “way out.”

  As the weeks went by, I witnessed some fascinating phenomena at these group meetings, although a lot of the time we just did meditation exercises. There were many discussions, especially about Time not being how we usually think it is. Geoff Boltwood then attended our class and he spoke to me about my energy. I’m sure Karen Harley had told him about me.

  I remember on one occasion Geoff Boltwood holding a quartz crystal in his hand. He took his ring off, and said that our combined energies would make something happen that would be quite extraordinary, but because of my added energy – which was quite powerful – it would have been quite painful for him if he had kept his ring on. He asked me to put my hand over his, and above the crystal. After a while the crystal began to resonate. It was a high-pitched sound not unlike a wet finger being rubbed along the top of a glass. He told me that the frequency or tone of the sound the crystal was emitting was also the frequency or tone of my energy. That was really interesting. I felt privileged in witnessing this. I’m sure that if anyone who is sceptical about these things was there to have heard this crystal making a sound that we had both generated; it would have made them think twice.

  Karen Harley was impressed with me because of my energy. And on one occasion we tried an experiment. She started off by talking about energy and how it can be converted, and then she said “Right we're going to try a little experiment” She turned to me and said “Paul could you help me on this? – Because our two energies combined would make this particular experiment work.” I said “Yeah OK.” She asked me to pull my chair forward, and then she pulled her chair forward so we met in the middle of the circle sitting opposite each other.

  Karen then asked me to hold my hands up together and to imagine that I was holding a ‘beach ball.’ I did this and then she held her hands up, between mine as if we were each holding the same ball. We then closed our eyes and imagined holding this beach ball. As we were doing this, each person in the group was asked to stand up and put their hand in the middle of this imagined beach ball. And as each person did this they said something like “my God . . . its cold.” It was ordinary room temperature, but within the space between our hands, there was this coldness. Now I didn’t feel the cold myself; what I felt was like a draught, alternating from one hand to the other, as if someone was using a fan . . . or waving a fan really quickly on one hand and then the other as if a circle of air was rushing around in a kind of vortex. As I said, I didn't feel that it was cold . . . it was more like a draught. But the others were saying it was very cold in the middle.

  I later left the group because I didn't think I was getting anywhere. At that time, the feeling I had was that Geoff Boltwood and Karen Harley were 'too accepting' of the paranormal, where I was questioning it all the time. I also felt that most of the other people in the group were like “sheep,” and I didn’t want to be like them . . . just accepting everything at face value. I wanted to challenge it all I suppose, and because of this I may have been a little rebellious. When I told Karen Harley about my decision to leave, she was quite dismayed and asked me to stay, but I declined. I then received a few phone calls from her and her secretary, asking me to consider coming back, but I again declined, saying that I just didn't have the time."

Gary:

Later, during August 1995, I purchased a book by Geoff Boltwood that he had begun writing in 1992 and finished in 94. The book is an autobiography titled The Messenger. Here’s an extract from it:

‘As I have already mentioned Source Energy has been implanted in a number of people on this planet today, whom I have come to call ‘Source people.’ It is implanted at a time of critical illness or accident, but is not always immediately activated as it was in my own case. It can lie dormant in potential Source people, and may be ‘switched on’ so that they can be called to service at a particular time of need. All the source people I have been in contact with have been naturally drawn to me and when I have spoken to them about Source Energy they have immediately known what I was talking about even though they might not use the same terminology. Something similar is happening to other Source people in groups all over the world.

  Source people are given the option to join in Source work, but no pressure is put on them and they have the free will to choose whether to use the energy and also how to use it. So another important purpose of the group was to allow the Source people among us to choose freely whether they wished to become part of the future Source work.

  During the next couple of years one or two people with Source Energy were introduced to the group and worked well with us for a while, but finally decided that this path was not right for them and exercised their freedom of choice to move off in different directions. The change in their own perceptions resulting from the group work would ultimately have an effect on all the people they would meet in their individual work and lives.’ [2]

I can see why Paul referred to Geoff’s concept of “Source people” as being like the children’s TV programme, “The Tomorrow People.” Of course one of these people with “Source Energy” whom Geoff is talking about in the above extract and who was introduced to his group was in fact Paul who later left and had an effect on others around him . . . one of these being myself!

  It’s interesting that Geoff calls this energy “Source Energy” – which means that it comes from a particular source or point. This means that he has a conscious acknowledgement of this energy and its point of origin. Geoff’s “Source” is what I first began calling the ‘Neutral Point’ and now recognise as the Void.

  This is all very strange – especially when looking at the indirect links we have with celebrity psychic, Uri Geller . . .

  As I will describe later, in 1999, "urban shaman", Mark Dunn and I found ourselves corresponding with theoretical physicist Jack Sarfatti and many others. We became contributing subscribers to Jack Sarfatti’s exclusive email list – a list that includes other important people in consciousness research, such as physicist’s Hal Puthoff and Saul Paul Sirag, Astronaut, Edgar Mitchell, Gary Zukav, Ira Einhorn and author Colin Wilson – all of whom had been closely acquainted with Uri in the past. It wasn’t long before Mark and I discovered, that the ‘new physics of consciousness theory’ that Jack Sarfatti had been developing – and which he calls his ‘Post-Quantum Mechanics’ theory is based on the ‘Non-Local connection.’

  Mark Dunn and I have identified this ‘Non-Local connection’ to be the Void of Eastern Mysticism. This is all the more significant when we take into account that the Void is also known as the ‘Absolute’ and the ‘Source’ which of course brings us back to Geoff Boltwood and his group who believed in a universal energy they called ‘Source Energy.’ Also, Uri Geller was involved with Andrija Puharich whose assistant was Ira Einhorn. Mark Dunn and I corresponded with Ira Einhorn for some weeks. The connection here is that Andrija and Uri were both involved with “The Nine” communications. To cut a long story short, the emphasis given to these channelled communications lay in the concept of the Centre . . . the Source . . . the Void. In the light of what we now understand, these connections should not be underestimated, and to anyone serious about these things, these events and associations would seem to be orchestrated by some outside intelligence.
